Kansas City had lost their hockey team years ago, and then out of nowhere, the Outlaws minor league team were coming into town. With no players to feature or much money to do anything, we created a mascot to announce hockey was back in town. This campaign was so low-budget, we got paid in season tickets. Needless to say, I saw a lot of Canadians fighting that year.
